'Kingdom of the Lizards' Nominated for Award
I'm so excited that my first children's book, 'The Kingdom of the Lizards', was selected as a finalist in the 2017 Florida Authors and Publishers Association (FAPA) President’s Awards!
FAPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing information, resources, and professional development to members and others interested in the writing and publishing profession across the state of Florida. The annual FAPA Book Awards recognizes book publishing excellence as well as creativity in design, content, and production.
I can't wait for the awards banquet in Orlando on August 5th, 2017 to see if I won the gold, silver, or bronze medal for my book! My fantasy children's book-'The Kingdom of the Lizards'-was nominated in the Florida: Juvenile Age 7-12 category. This will not only be an exciting time to celebrate for my book, but I'm glad that I will be able to learn and grow by networking with other authors, publishers and professionals in the book industry.
